A new weblog

Ever since I published my last two designs, my head is full of new ideas for new designs. The designing business has taken a backburner for a while, as the shop gets busier and busier. But the desire to get back to this special creative process was never far away.

My latest designs, Dutch Darning Sampler and Dutch Scissor Fob are out for a couple of week snow. These are designs that have been out for a while, just never got published officially.

Dutch Darning Sampler is a new addition to the Small Samplers series, these projects will fit in most frames that you can buy at most shops like Target, Hobby Lobby, Michaels etc. My aim is to design something that won't cost you an arm and a leg to frame. The design is stitched on 32 count Belfast with Gloriana and Needlepoint Silks.

Dutch Scissor Fob is the latest addition in my scissor fob series. It is stitched with Delf Blue DMC colors on 28 count Cashel linen. Instructions for finishing the fob are included in the leaflet. You can stitch this for anybody who has a connection to the Netherlands.

I am working on 3 more designs that will hopefully be released later this year. There will be two more scissor fob designs and a Quaker stitching etui. A third Spanish Sampler is still very much in my head, but who knows, it might appear on paper one day.

Have a good stitching time.

Annemiek
